How Does a Swimming Pool Skimmer
A skimmer works through pulling water and floating particles from the pool floor thru a pivoting flap referred to as a weir whilst the pool pump is turned on. After the debris passes thru the weir, it gets gathered by the skimmer basket. This continues till the pool pump is turned off. When the pool pump is turned off, the pivoting flap returns to its unique role where in it allows to prevent the particles from re-entering the pool. At this point, the skimmer basket carries the debris from the pool floor and need to be emptied routinely to make sure free water float and most filtering ability.
